Question

Aging-system

As some of you might already have read on Discord: We were thinking about introducing an aging-system to the RPG. As the name itself says: This will be some kind of system where you will be able to age up your character. Because nobody stays young forever, right?

For example when you have a character from the age of 16, and want to rank him/her up. It won't be possible, because of the minimum of age there is on that rank. Or when your character wants to have children.. will the baby be forever young? What if somebody wants to take the role from that baby.. it just wouldn't be possible.

These are just a few examples, and I am sure that if we would all think together, we would stumble upon many more things like these. So that's why we want to introduce this system, to give you the option to age your characters. This will most likely happen by placing the RPG-timeline next to the RL-timeline. So for example, for 6 months in RL, your character will be able to age 1 year.

Now we want to hear your opinion about this, this can be positive or negative, or maybe a bit of both. We are open for all feedback and want to take you guys opinion with us when we develop the 'system'. So pleace, let us hear your voice and spit everything out that is on your mind. We love to have feedback from you guys! Also, we would love to have you guys fill in the poll, so we have a clear overview.

I have a couple questions xD

Would it be like as an example January-June is 1 year, July to December is another year, and the seasons change accordingly, etc, and also once your character has been around for 6 months, that's basically their birthday and they age up a year?

or is it literally just something that would affect the ages of your character and everything else stays the same?
