With all of her closest friends, and one of her sisters, out of Skagen at the moment, Freyja found herself in the tavern after she’d left the shipyard for the day. She’d finished early, and it was far too soon to go home and simply stare at the ceiling while she tried to avoid thinking about… all the things she was currently trying to avoid thinking about. The list was growing by the day, it seemed.

Once inside the tavern, Freyja took a seat at a table in the corner. She wasn’t here looking for company, but she probably wouldn’t turn it away if she found a familiar face to chat with. The first familiar face was Alvina’s, and Freyja smiled and waved at the younger woman. She clearly hadn’t kept in touch with her, as she hadn’t realized she was working at the tavern, but it was nice to see a friendly face.

After getting an ale and sipping at it slowly, Freyja spent most of her time people watching. She didn’t see too many familiar faces, and the ones she did clearly had better things to do than approach her. She was okay with that. Freyja wasn’t the sort of person who needed to be around other people all the time. Coming from such a large family, any time on her own was perfectly fine for her.

However, she spotted someone nearby and couldn’t help but roll her eyes a bit. Jötunn Grímsson was an all too familiar face and Freyja wasn’t sure how she felt about him at the moment. Looking down quickly into her cup, she wondered if it would be impolite to pretend she hadn’t seen him. Probably. So she smiled and nodded at him quickly. "Evening," she greeted simply and hoped this didn’t mean her evening was going to take an awkward turn.
