gossiping is life- Visna Empty
PostSubject: gossiping is life- Visna gossiping is life- Visna EmptyFri Feb 09, 2018 3:07 am

Sofie wasn't sure if her family knew just how happy she was to be home and back with them like she was. Sure she was not one to just come out and say things like this, but she had missed them all so very much. Missed the bricking, teasing, fighting, love, and so many other things like that. This trip had been the first time she had ever been away from them all in her whole life, and while she had an amazing time seeing a new village and even making friends with people there. Sofie missed being able to talk to her sisters everyday, she missed finding out what was going on in their lives, and on top of all that she had worried about them all so much. She had worried that Halfdan or someone else would have done something to them while she was gone, but it seems so far that she worried for nothing. Something that the was happy about, but still worried a little bit. Was he going to really leave them alone, or was he going to strike when they least saw it coming? Sofie hoped it was the first one, that he was only going to bug her. Sofie would be okay with that, if he had decided to only mess with her, it meant her sisters would be okay. However she was not stupid, she knew he was a very unpredictable man, and she should never bank on anything when it came to him.

When she came home she had gone to see Aleinn first, maybe that was mean because he was just her boyfriend for a short amount of time compared to her sisters being in her life since she was born, but she had missed him too. So much, and she had just wanted to see him before she got sucked into all the madness that was her home. So when she was done spending time with him, and hugging him, and kissing him, she decided to finally go home. Walking into the door she was greeted with something small and fluffy first. Jumping on her legs and licking at the skin on her legs. The biggest smile come onto her face has she drops down onto her butt and gives the dog a little bit of attention. She would need to ask one of her sisters a little bit more information when she was done loving on it. Which could be never if she was honest about it. Sofie was sure she could sit here and pet the puppy until her hands fell off. Because she had wanted one her entire life, and the answer had always been no. So she was shocked that she went away and came home to a cute little dog.

The puppy ran away after a few minutes and Sofie decided it was time to get up and see if anyone in her family was even home. Looking around for a few moments, she saw the familiar color of brown, and was happy to see that her dear sister Visna was home. "Hello Visna" she says to her sister first as she walks up quietly behind her. "I am finally home!" she says to her next with a smile. "I see we got a dog, who's is it?" she asks her next. Really unloading on her, because she was so excited to see her. One because she missed her, and two because no one in her family even knew she was with Aleinn yet. So if she was going to tell anyone, it was going to be Visna for sure."Also get over here and give me a hug, and then maybe I'll give you your gifts!" she says to her last with a laugh.

Since Sofie left Skagen, things had been a little hectic in Visna’s life. Freyja was very concerned about everyone’s safety, given the fact that they knew that Halfdan wasn’t exactly the easy type, and that he could’ve done anything to endanger them. Luckily for them, nothing happened, but that was probably because they chose to be extremely careful and lay low. To Visna, laying low meant that she threw herself completely in her job, since she couldn’t do anything else. Sewing helped her when she wanted to avoid thinking about bad situations, but she also knew that it wasn’t completely healthy.

With her eyebrows furrowed, the girl was holding the hem of a gown she worked on in the last two days, when the needle slipped and stung her left index. A small grown escaped the girl’s lips right when she dropped everything on the table a little frustrated. Visna managed to avoid the little blood drop that fell from her finger to end up on the dress, moving as fast as she could, instinctively sucking on her finger. The blood flow stopped right away, but she wasn’t feeling like working again, so she stood up while inhaling deeply. She found herself few moments later standing in front of the dining table. Flashes of her evening with Maurr went through her mind and she couldn’t hold back her smile, not even when a familiar voice called her name.

Hearing Sofie’s voice after all those days was such a relief to the girl. Visna turned around to face her sister that was already flooding her with questions, but the only thing that she could do was smiling at her and throw herself into her arms. That wasn’t exactly something she usually did, showing that much love to her sisters, but she hadn’t seen her in a while now and she had to admit she had missed her. Visna released her sister from her tight hug few seconds later and tried to recall everything her sister told her in the five seconds she actually spoke. ”Her name is Rane, she’s Freyja’s dog.” She said moving her hand towards a random direction to point at the dog that wasn’t with them in that moment. ”I always get fur all over my fabrics.” She said rolling her eyes jokingly. ”But I must admit, she is very cute.” She then added, smiling warmly. The dog was definitely something Visna could handle way better than a horse. As if something just hit her in the face, the girl shook her head and grabbed Sofie’s hands. ”By the Gods, you must tell me everything!” She started, her voice a little higher than before. ”Was the village much different from ours? And what about the people? What did you do?” It looked like it was her turn to ask questions.

When she felt her sister throw herself into her arms Sofie was so glad. She had missed all of them so very much. Not to mention she worried about them all so much while she was away for so long. Sofie had worried something horrible would happen to them, and se was glad to be able to hug and hold her sister this way. Plus her and Visna were similar in the way they felt about being touched, so she knew that her sister had missed her just as much as she had missed her. Visna slowly let go and took a step back. For some reason Sofie had wishes the hug had been longer. Maybe because they had always been the closest and she had missed her so much. ”Her name is Rane, she’s Freyja’s dog.” Visna said to her first as she slowly started to answer all the things that Sofie had thrown at her when she first started to talk. Rane was a cute name for that cute little dog. Sofie would do her best to make sure and to remember it, and thank her sister for buying the thing in the first place. Sure it was her sisters dog and she understood that, but that didn't mean she wasn't happy that the little thing was now apart of their family ”I always get fur all over my fabrics.” Visna says to her next and Sofie lets out a little laugh.

Visna goes on to talk more. ”But I must admit, she is very cute.” she says and Sofie nods her head at her. "Yes, she really is. I'm glad she bought her." she says to her in return. "Even if she does get fur on your stuff." she says next in a teasing voice. She had missed giving her sisters a hard time too while she was gone. For most of the time it was her being given the hard time. Instead of her giving people hard times. Haskell had been on her back all the time, making sure to remind her not to get into trouble to something along those lines. The other two hadn't been to bad, but they still got on her to, to an extent. Henrik seemed to ask how she was doing more then before too after he found out she was Aleinn's women. Sofie thought that was pretty nice of him, and cute in his own little way. Sofie was brought from those thoughts when Visna grabbed her hands. ”By the Gods, you must tell me everything!” Vinsa says to her first and Sofie smiles brightly at her. Sofie noted her sisters excitement when she heard her voice change as she said ”Was the village much different from ours? And what about the people? What did you do?” to her next.

Letting out a small laugh she shook her head and smiled. "I hope you are ready for a long night of talking then. Because I have a lot of stuff to talk to you about." she says to her sister before pulling her hands away. Reaching into one of the bags on the side of her body she pulled out some beautiful silk fabric she had boughten for her sister. It as a mixture of red and pink. A color she was sure she had never seen her sister or her mother use before. Wrapped inside the fabric were little things she had boughten her. A necklace that would match the dress perfectly. That had big stones and had cost her a lot. Plus a beautiful silver hair piece for her as well. "First your gift." she says to her sister before handing her the fabric. "Be careful when you open it up, and you are to make yourself a dress with that. Its not for you to use to sell." she says to her sister with a smile. She was happy she had taken some money with her so she could buy things for her sisters. they hadn't gotten to go, so she wanted them to have something from there. Something they could say was from a different village.

Taking a deep breath to start and answer the other things her sister had asked. "The village was similar in some ways, but so different in others. There are so many more things there, as they trade more things then we do. I'm not even sure where that fabric is from, but I think someone else in the world! The people were all mostly very kind! I had a small run in with one of the princes. His name is Ivar, the one Ylva talked about...he didn't know anything sadly." she says to her sister first. "I was mostly made to stay with the guys, but when I did get away I met a few people. Prince Ivar like I said, A boat builder by the name of Floki, and a woman named Yrsa. The other two were great. However I would be fine with never talking to Ivar ever again" she says to her next with a small laugh. "I literally have no idea why Ylva had been so excited to be his friend, he has some major issues." she says to her next before rolling her eyes. "I would love to take you there someday however. You would love it!" she tells her sister next.

She was just about to ask her sister what had been going on here while she was gone when she remembered something major she hadn't told anyone yet. Freyja had found out when she threw herself at Aleinn, but before that no one knew but the boys. "I also have one more thing to tell you before I demand you tell me what happened while I was away." Sofie says to her before biting her lip for a short moment. "I got a lover before I left for Kattegat...Alienn Andorsson. We kissed before I left and once I got back too!" she says to Visna as her whole face lights up in a blush just thinking about it.
