Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr Empty
PostSubject: Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr EmptyTue Nov 21, 2017 9:56 pm

So far the party had been going great. Lots and lots of people had come and their mother looked happier than she had in a very long time. Sofie was glad for that, because her mother had deserved to be happy. She shouldn't have to be sad about her husbands death the rest of her life. It had been five years, so they could start celebrating more now. However Sofie didn't like that the man she thought was totally weird was now spending most of the night with her mother. She had seen them drinking together, dancing together, and now sitting and talking together. It was making Sofie want to drink even more then she already was. She had already had a horn and a half and was starting to feel a bit tipsy already. Looking around the room she looked for some of her sisters or someone who could help distract her from what ever the heck it meant that her mother was spending so much time with a man. She knew what it looked like, like they were dating or something like that.

However Sofie's mother wasn't dating anyone. She couldn't be! She wasn't aloud to do so. Sofie didn't want a step father, she already had the best father in the world and he died. She chugged the rest of her drink just at the thought. This was her mothers night and she might just be over thinking things. Her mother was older, and older people did things differently maybe. All the many lies she tried to tell herself as she looked around the room. At least everyone was having fun. She could see Rúna talking to people and laughing, Freyja was with her friends and enjoying herself as well. Tora was being her shy little self, but she too looked to be having a good time at the moment. So Sofie just needed to keep her mind off the situation and onto having a good time like everyone else was. Then she could pull all her pranks she had planed in the morning and feel even better.

After a while she spotted her sister Visna off doing something, and then she saw Maurr on on his own. Walking over to the counter she grabbed three horns and held them the best she could before went over to Visna. She grabbed her sisters hand and put a horn in it before she grabbed her arm and said "Come with me." to her as she started to walk over to where she saw Maurr all on his own."We are going to talk to Maurr and get drunk" Sofie told Visna as she walked them both over to him.Once over to him she let of of Visna and then handed Maurr the horn she had been holding with her elbow."Drink that." she told him with a smile before adding"I didn't do anything to it. It's my mothers party, you are safe for the night." she said before taking another drink of her own horn."We are glad you came, aren't we Visna?" she said with a big smile. She really was glad he had come, and now it was her goal to make sure he had fun like she had said to him the other day."I hope your ready for some fun, because I remember I promised you fun Maurr." she said last as she took another deep drink from her horn.

Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr Empty
PostSubject: Re: Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr EmptyThu Nov 23, 2017 11:39 pm

Celebrating Kara’s birthday was a great idea. Everyone was having fun, or so it looked and there was ale flooding from everywhere. Until that moment, Visna didn’t really drank that much because she remembered what Freyja told her when they first talked about not having too much alcohol in her veins. It wasn’t like she couldn’t drink, but she really didn’t want her older sister to argue with her just because of few drinks. Not in her mother’s special night.

From when she entered the tavern until then, Visna had spent most of the time talking with her mother and her regular customers that she used to see a lot when they hung out at her mother’s shop. She only had one full cup of ale and was now holding her second one, sipping gently and slowly so that it could last longer. Apart from her sisters, there weren’t too many people around her age, but she enjoyed talking about dresses with those kind ladies.

Just when she was putting down her now empty cup of ale, she felt a hand grabbing her arm and without her really understanding why, she found herself with a horn full of ale in her hands. ”Oh, that was quick.” She commented looking at the horn. ”Come with me.” That was Sofie’s voice. Visna raised her gaze and looked at her sister with a confused expression. ”"We are going to talk to Maurr and get drunk" She continued while leading her to another part of the room. Amazing. Now her plan of not getting drunk was a far away dream, but maybe she needed her sister to have her back in that situation. What could go wrong if they both got drunk? With Maurr? ”Wait.” She thought. Maurr is here?” The girl said now scanning the whole room, trying to find him. How come she didn’t see him yet? They soon were face to face with the boy and the girl greeted him with a smile. Her sister handed him a horn as she did with her just few moments before, assuring him it wasn’t a prank because they were there to celebrate. "We are glad you came, aren't we Visna?" Sofie added. ”Of course we are! I did not know you were coming. It is nice having you here. Visna said with a smile before drinking from her horn. "I hope your ready for some fun, because I remember I promised you fun Maurr." What was she talking about? Did Sofie invite Maurr at the party? If that was the truth she was glad to her sister for doing that. Visna then took a huge sip of ale from her horn. ”Screw drinking restrictions.” She thought. She was going to have fun.

damned if i do
damned if i don’t.

Finally, the big night had arrived. All day long, he had been a bit nervous. Not only because he was basically going to lie to his owner, but also because this was the first time he would be spending time with people that weren’t the thralls that lived in the shared shed. Hopefully he wouldn’t say or do something to embarras himself, as he had no idea how to behave in social situations like that. It was a party, so he assumed there would be alcohol. He didn’t drink alcohol, ever. It wasn’t like he could afford it. The only thing he could get for free was water, and if he was lucky, some leftover ale they could mix with the water. But it was never strong enough to actually taste good or get him tipsy. So he was curious about how the night would progress. The time had passed by in some kind of blur, as he was distracted by his thoughts all day long. When it was finally time to go, he quickly cleaned up the tools he had been repairing.

Maurr had stopped by his shed to fresh himself up and change into something more suitable for the event. He didn’t have expensive clothing, but he had set aside one of his better shirts and sweater, so he could wear that to the party. When he was changed, he brought his hair into shape.. Not that it had a shape, but whatever. Then he walked over to the center of the village. He didn’t feel completely comfortable, but eventually he reached his destination. It was weird to walk into the building, as he had never even set foot in the main hall. Luckily it was crowed enough, so no one really saw him walk in anyways. He searched for Kara, but didn’t find her immediately. Before he could look any further, he suddenly heard the familiar voice of Sofie. "Drink that." She said, pushing a horn into his hands.

Well, that was fast. ”Good evening, both of you”, He said with a smile. They both seemed to have a similar cup, and they weren’t holding back on drinking from it. But he was a little sceptical. ”And ehh.. What exactly is this?” He asked, looking at the gold brown liquid. He just assumed it was ale, but he had never seen it in this colour. Before he took a sip of it, he looked around again. ”I also haven’t had the chance to wish your mother a happy birthday”, He let them know. Maybe they knew better where the birthday girl was hanging out.

Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr Empty
PostSubject: Re: Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr EmptyTue Nov 28, 2017 6:15 pm

Sofie smiled at her sister when she heard her say ”Oh, that was quick.” to the horn of ale in her hands. She must have just finished the one she had been holding before. That was just good timing on Sofie's behave. She smiled more as she dragged Visna closer to Maurr and she heard her say ”Maurr is here?” to her. Shaking her head Sofie spoke."Yes he is here, I invited him a few days ago. I thought he could use some fun." she tells her sister just before the get over to Maurr and where he was standing. She handed him his drink and then told him they were glad he had come. Visna spoke again too ”Of course we are! I did not know you were coming. It is nice having you here. she told him and Sofie smiled. She had kind of told Maurr all her sisters had agreed that he could come, but she never asked them. She just hoped he forgot her words and was just glad to be invited. He looked nice, he was wearing clothes she wasn't sure she had seen before. However she really didn't pay attention to what he wore all the time so who knows.

Maurr then started talking to them . ”Good evening, both of you”, he said to her very politely, Sofie smiled and took a deep drink from her horn. She needed to get drunker and fast. ”And ehh.. What exactly is this?” he asks next as he motions to the horn in his hand. Smiling at him she speaks again. "It's ale, one imported for a different village, so in a way its new." she says before taking another drink "They say its stronger." she says next after she finishes her drink. Sofie watches him look at it before taking a small drink and speaking once more ”I also haven’t had the chance to wish your mother a happy birthday”, he says and Sofie feels her smile fall just a little bit. The thought of her mother and whoever that damn man was running right back into her mind.

She throws the rest of her horn back finishing it before turning away and raising her hand to have someone bring her another over. At least here the people were payed to work in the tavern and it wasn't Thralls, well she was pretty sure it was that way anyways. She looks to Visna for a moment before looking back to him."We will take you in a bit, promise. Just have a drink or five and relax first. She is busy at the moment anyways.." she says to him before looking back to her mother and the man who she is now dancing with. She needed answers of who he was and why he was so close to her now, but she wasn't going to ruin her mothers party. A new horn was brought over to her and she smiles and says "Thanks" to the person before turing around and looking at the other two."So do you like it? the new ale?" she asks with a smile. "Because we are going to be getting drunk on it...you can stay at our house tonight Maurr...just get drunk with us." she says next as she drinks deep from the new horn. This was going to hit her hard and fast before she knew it. She smiled at her sister and nodded at her to drink more herself.

Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr Empty
PostSubject: Re: Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr EmptySun Dec 03, 2017 9:36 pm

Sofie’s smile was contagious to Visna, even though she knew that smile promised nothing good, or maybe it did. Her sister announced that Maurr was attending the party so that definitely was a good thing. "Yes he is here, I invited him a few days ago. I thought he could use some fun." Why didn’t she think about it too? The girl loved being in his company and of course the boy knew their mother, so the fact that Sofie invited him was in fact a great idea. Visna was a little jealous for not thinking about that and not inviting him herself, but now she had the chance to make up for it and stay with both Sofie and Maurr.

Maurr greeted the two sisters with a very polite smile and Visna smiled back at him. ”And ehh.. What exactly is this?” Visna was about to reply to the boy, but Sofie was faster. "It's ale, one imported for a different village, so in a way its new." Visna took a long sip from her horn as if talking about ale made her thirsty. ”They say its stronger." Her sister added, and Visna looked at her horn with furrowed eyebrows. She didn’t find it stronger in flavour, but maybe the effects on body and mind were indeed stronger, but she didn’t know.

The girl took another sip, this time a bigger one, and almost without noticing, her horn was empty as her sister’s. Her attention was on Maurr now, who was saying that he haven’t had the chance to meet their mother yet. Visna nodded at her sister’s words and smiled at the boy. She then saw Sofie waving to someone to bring her another cup of ale and the person almost immediately came over with her order. ”Can I have one too, please?” Visna said with a soft voice and a gentle smile. The person nodded at her and as soon as Visna turned her head to look at Maurr again, another cup of ale was placed in her hand. The brunette smiled politely at the person who brought it to her and then Sofie’s voice grabbed her attention once again. "So do you like it? the new ale?" She asked to the boy who was probably not used to this kind of drinks. "Because we are going to be getting drunk on it...you can stay at our house tonight Maurr...just get drunk with us." Visna giggled and nodded in agreement. ”It’s a nice idea, just let it go for tonight.” She said reaching out to the boy’s arm and touching it trying to reassure him and make him feel comfortable with this whole situation that looked pretty new to him. Visna felt Sofie’s smile on her, so she smiled back at her before drinking a little bit more ale from her new cup. ”Do we have a deal?” Visna then said to Maurr, raising her cup towards the two of them. ”Skål?” She asked as if that was a way to formalize their deal.

damned if i do
damned if i don’t.

The crowd was both his friend and enemy. He felt a bit uncomfortable, surrounded by people who were way higher in rank than he was. If he was not mistaking, there were some high rank guests at this party. Viking warriors, even. But then again, he could hide himself in this crowd as well. Nobody was really paying attention to him, which was nice. Until two people decided to approach him. Not that he minded though. He greeted the sisters with a smile. A smile that faded a bit when Sofie suddenly pushed a cup into his hand with a weird liquid inside. She explained it was indeed ale, but from another village. She also said it was stronger, but he didn’t really understand what she meant by that. Before he took a sip though, he mentioned he hadn’t seen their mother. Which was apparently not even an issue. "We will take you in a bit, promise. Just have a drink or five and relax first. She is busy at the moment anyways.." Sofie reassured him. ”Five? Are you serious?” He echoed surprised. Did she want him to die?

Carefully, he tasted the ale. It was bitter, but left a sweet taste after he had swallowed it. ”It’s alright, I think?” He said with a soft smile, after which he chuckled. This whole situation was so weird. Especially when she told him they would be getting drunk tonight. Visna seemed to agree with this plan as well. ”But.. But… I have never been drunk?” He confessed, with a bit of hesitation. ”I guess, maybe, just for this one night.. It couldn’t hurt”, He continued, shrugging ligthly. How could he even deny them having a good time at their mother’s birthday party? If they wanted to get drunk with him, then he would please them with downing these cups. "Skål”, He repeated after Visna, pushing his cup softly against hers, while looking curiously at Sofie.

Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr Empty
PostSubject: Re: Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr EmptyTue Dec 12, 2017 5:53 pm

Sofie smiled at her sister as she watched her order herself another drink. It was nice that someone else was on board with her plan of getting wasted and forgetting the night. She needed something to keep her mind off of the man and all the other things running though her mind. Visna seemed to want to do the same, so all they had to do was make Maurr drink with them as well. He should want to at least try it would right? He had never had a drink before she was sure. So he wouldn't be able to drink as much as she and her sister, but at least he would be able to let loose and have the fun that she promised. Besides by the looks that Visna and Maurr were giving one another they needed a little bit of encouragement to not just look at each other. However she had been "bad" at judging looking lately, so she wasn't going to make a comment about it and embarrassed them or herself.  If they did like one another however, she was in full support. Maurr was a good man, and would take care of Visna if her plan of freeing him was going to work out. ”Five? Are you serious?” Maurr asked and she just laughed. "This is already my fourth. However you shouldn't drink as much as I do." she said with a shrug before taking another drink of her glass.”It’s a nice idea, just let it go for tonight.” Visna said and Sofie just nodded her head before taking another large drink from her own cup. "Yes, It is. All three of us deserve to just let go and have fun." she said to them both."We haven't had fun together before too, so that is even more of a reason to celebrate. The crazy night the three of us are going to have!" she added in with a laugh.

She watched as Maurr took a drink of his cup and said ”It’s alright, I think?” he told them and she just smiled. She wanted to tease him, but she knew better of doing it. He had not tasted these types of things before, and the idea of that alone made her annoyed too. He was older then herself. He should have been doing all kinds of things he wanted. She took another drink just to calm her mind more. Things were already starting to slow down a lot. She as drinking far to fast, and eating not enough. They joked about getting drunk some more before Maurr said ”But.. But… I have never been drunk?” to them, before adding. ”I guess, maybe, just for this one night.. It couldn’t hurt”, to them. Sofie let out a cheering sound before Visna and Maurr said "Skål” she smiled before telling them before repeating the word toward them"Skål" and then almost emptying her new horn of ale. She knew she was going to be hit with a suddenly strong wave of drunkness with the rate she was drinking, but she was with two other people. She wasn't too worried that anything bad would happen to her. "I am glad you came, I know I already said it...but I am." she told Maurr with a smile. "I have something in the works for you too..but we will talk more about that when I actually have my plan all worked out! she said next before looking over to her sister with a smile.

Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr Empty
PostSubject: Re: Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr EmptyThu Dec 14, 2017 12:22 am

Sipping little by little from her new cup of ale, Visna couldn’t help but think about how that situation was both bad and good in different ways. She knew Sofie was trying to help Maurr relax and have a great time with them both, but on the other hand, she was also aware of the fact that the boy wasn’t really used to those kind of situations. The girl just didn’t know how to behave and hoped they were doing the right thing.

”Five? Are you serious?” Sofie laughed at the boy’s words and Visna just thought about how cute his insecure attitude was, in that occasion. "This is already my fourth. However you shouldn't drink as much as I do." Visna immediately nodded at those words and moved closer to Maurr. ”She is a monster sometimes.” She told him before giggling and turning around to smile at her sister. Maurr agreed with Sofie’s idea and both of them repeated ”Skål" after her. With just few words, Maurr was able to convince the girl that they were actually doing the right thing. She only needed his words to gain her confidence back. The next sip she took from her cup was too short to satisfy her expectations. She looked at the empty glass with a pout and raised her hand, gesturing the waiter to bring her more ale right when her sister was repeating she was glad Maurr was there. Visna was happy that her sister was so open about how she felt about having him there and she wished she could say more than just agree with her, but couldn’t find the right words.

Sofie already looked a bit tipsy and Visna envied her a little. She needed to drink more, she wanted to. "I have something in the works for you too..but we will talk more about that when I actually have my plan all worked out!” Her sister smiled at her and she frowned. ”What is it that you are planning, sister?” She hoped Sofie wasn’t going to plan another one of her pranks on her or Maurr. She would’ve need a lot more ale to get through one of those. Luckily her new horn full of ale arrived and she grabbed it with both hands and gulped down almost half of its content. She wasn’t that great of a drinker, she was used to alcohol, but probably not enough. The room spinned around her, she stumbled, making two little steps back and to save herself from falling on the ground, she reached for Maurr’s arm and grabbed it firmly with her free hand, holding onto him.

damned if i do
damned if i don’t.

So now he had let them talk him into drinking. And Sofie didn’t even try to hide they would drink so much they would get wasted. He had never experienced that feeling himself, but he had seen enough drunk people to know he would lose all control. It both made him curious and scared. Would he be doing stupid things? Probably. He didn’t know how many people here were aware of his situation, but he sincerely hoped no one would tell his boss about it. He didn’t want to get in trouble, but he had to take the risk. Especially when Visna agreed with the plan. Five was a lot of cups though. This is already my fourth. However you shouldn't drink as much as I do." Sofie confessed, and he widened his eyes in surprise. "I thought the party started only an hour ago?" He said, as he struggled to wrap his mind around it. She was much smaller than he was, how did she even handle all that alcohol? ”She is a monster sometimes.” Visna giggled, and he looked from one girl to the other. ”Well.. Considering the drinks you had, I have to agree”, He reacted, after which he quickly took a gulp from the cup, not sure if he would have insulted the older sister.

Now he had agreed with their plan on getting drunk, he might as well get started. By the time they both finished another cup, he finished his first one. He was liking the taste more now he was used to it. When the waiter came over with more cups, he took one for himself as well. ”I’m really happy to be here too”, He reacted to Sofie’s words. Her next sentence made him look at her curiously. ”I want to know now as well”, He chuckled. Wait what. Why did he find that funny? Suspiciously he looked at the cup in his hands. Already? Right after that realisation, he saw how Visna was tipping over. He quickly reacted and by the time she had grabbed his arm, he already was pulling her closer into some kind of hug. ”What are you doing”, He then laughed, hardly able to keep quiet.

Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr Empty
PostSubject: Re: Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr EmptySun Dec 31, 2017 10:24 pm

Sofie was really starting to feel the effect of all the alcohol she had been drinking and how fast she had been drinking it, however that didn't make her slow down at all. She wanted to get to drunk that she wouldn't remember the night, and would wake up forgetting all about the man and what he meant to her mother. They were talking about how much she had been drinking and how she was almost already done with her fourth drink as it was. "I thought the party started only an hour ago?" Maurr said first and she rolled her eyes at him. What was his point with that, that there was no way she could drink that much in this amount of time? She would show him just how much she could drink if he was going to act like that. ”She is a monster sometimes.” Visna said next and Sofie just nodded her head at them both. ”Well.. Considering the drinks you had, I have to agree”, Maurr said to her next and she smiled. " I am around men and women who drink a lot all the time, you grow a tolerance to it." she says to them both before shrugging. "Plus the motivation to forget about the man touching my mother is helping both me and him. she said with another shrug.

The conversation changed and she told Maurr she was glad he came once more before talking about the surprise she had planed for him. ”I’m really happy to be here too”, Maurr said to her in return. She was glad he was happy to be here, it made inventing him all the more worth it to her. He needed to have fun, and enjoy himself sometimes. ”What is it that you are planning, sister?”she heard Visna ask her, and Sofie down the rest of her drink before looking toward her sister. ”I want to know now as well”, Maurr says other next. Well she guessed she was going to have to tell them both now, and ruin her surprise. However before she was able to speak to the two of them her sister was stumbling all around and grabbing onto Maurr for support. Then Maurr as hugging her close to him and making Sofie smile. What are you doing”, she hear Maurr ask her rather loudly and she laughed. " She is getting drunk, there will be a lot more of that." she said laughing more before stumbling forward a bit herself. Only making her own self laugh more.

Taking a deep breath after she got herself steady again she decided to answer what they both asked before."I ordered you a sword. One for your size and weight." she said to him first. "Then I plan to show you how to use it." she says to him next with another giggle. The alcohol was really affecting her now."I also plan to free you, but I haven't worked that one all out yet, and I'm way to drunk to think of it right now...." she says lastly before smiling and giggling more.

Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr Empty
PostSubject: Re: Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr EmptyThu Jan 04, 2018 12:17 am

Her sister’s drinking skills were definitely higher than Visna’s. She didn’t know if she used to drink with the other warriors she trained with, but Visna surely wasn’t at her level. Visna joked about her sister being a monster sometimes, but she agreed as if it was the purest truth. That made the girl smile a bit before a further confirmation of her thoughts came directly from Sofie herself. " I am around men and women who drink a lot all the time, you grow a tolerance to it." She said, revealing her secret. Which wasn’t really a secret. Was she already getting that drunk? ”Aha! I knew it was because of them!” Visna said before laughing at her own words. Yes, she was getting drunk. ”Plus the motivation to forget about the man touching my mother is helping both me and him.” Her sister then said and immediately Visna was sober again. She forgot about her mother spending basically the whole night with that dude they never saw before. ”Maybe he’s a good guy though.” She said before sipping more ale, trying to make her reason a little. She loved her mother and she was sure she knew what she was doing. Visna believed that Sofie loved Kara as much as she did, but her relationship with their father was stronger, it was understandable for her to be so pissed off.

Now she had another goal for the evening, apart from getting Maurr drunk she knew she had to distract her sister and have fun with the both of them. Luckily the topic of the conversation changed pretty smoothly, with them talking about how happy they were that Maurr actually joined them. Visna had to fight a little against the urge of smiling uncontrollably every time he spoke a word or simply moved and the ale was helping her, giving her an excuse to smile like that in front of everyone. It was also giving her a lot of troubles staying still and with the room spinning all around her, she couldn’t help but stumbling and trying to save herself by grabbing onto Maurr that immediately hugged her close. Very close. Her first instinct was to hug him back, cutting the distance between them a little shorter, but then she froze. Visna felt the heat reaching her cheeks, she knew she could simply blame the ale, but she also knew they weren’t going to leave her alone. Well, Sofie wasn’t going to leave her alone. She was surely going to ask her about her feelings for him now and she didn’t know if she was ready to share those with her. Not because she was ashamed of her feelings for him, but because she still had to understand how to deal with them. "She is getting drunk, there will be a lot more of that." Sofie replied to him for her and she nodded and smiled, locking her eyes in his for a brief moment before pulling back and finding her balance again.

The girl brought her cup to her face, maybe to hide herself, maybe to drown with ale every amplified sensation she was feeling, probably to do both things at the same time. She was still drinking when she heard Sofie finally answering to their questions about her “plan” as she called it. "I ordered you a sword. One for your size and weight." All she could do was frown a little, but she kept listening. "Then I plan to show you how to use it." Sofie then said and Visna pulled her cup away from her lips and smiled widely. ”That’s great! But what use could he make of a swor-” Visna was interrupted by Sofie’s next words. "I also plan to free you, but I haven't worked that one all out yet, and I'm way to drunk to think of it right now...." The girl completely froze on the spot, the first part of Sofie’s last sentence kept repeating in her head over and over. Free him. That could’ve been her chance to be happy, their chance to be together. Was she running too fast? But maybe Sofie was right, maybe there was a chance for them to succeed. ”I’ll help with that.” She said firmly, feeling completely sober all of a sudden. She finally had her chance to prove him she could support him, that she could truly help him and she wasn’t going to waste it.

damned if i do
damned if i don’t.

Now that Sofie had mentioned a surprise, he really wanted to know what she was planning. Was it another prank? Hopefully not, because even though he started to like her more and more as a friend, he wasn’t sure he could handle one of her pranks. They were notorious among the people of Skagen and he didn’t really feel like being the victim of one of those. Visna would protect him though, right? For now, he was the one protecting her though. By keeping her from falling on the ground. "She is getting drunk, there will be a lot more of that." Sofie explained. For a second, he looked up to her. ”Oh no, am I going to be falling too?” He asked, a little bit panicking about that. He looked at the cup, not so sure if he should drink more if that would be the case. Because who would be able to catch him, if he fell over? He was taller and heavier than both of them, and the ground seemed a bit hard and uncomfortable to be honest. So he’d rather not tip over.

Which would be hard, surely when Sofie finally revealed her plans. He listened with big blue eyes focused on her. The shock and surprise was paralysing him. Meanwhile, Visna was agreeing with the plan, even promising she would help. ”Wait, no, no you can’t do that”, He finally protested. ”You’ll get in trouble if they find out, I can’t own a sword, I’m not allowed to use one either”, He muttered on. He placed the cup on one of the tables and looked around nervously. If anyone had heard that, they could easily go tell the harbour master. He had no idea how he would even hide a sword in his shed. The other thralls would find it for sure. Also, when would he ever have the time to actually practise with it, as she had suggested? He was always working, and it would be hard to sneak away to train.

Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr Empty
PostSubject: Re: Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr Drinking till dawn-Visna & Maurr EmptyWed Jan 10, 2018 8:32 pm

Sofie was fairly certain she should stop drinking, but she wasn't going to be doing that anytime soon. She was enjoying the light feeling she was getting in her head, and she feeling of complete relaxation that was taking over her body as well. The more she drank the less she was caring about things that were going on around them. ”Aha! I knew it was because of them!” she hears Visna say after she comments that she can drink more because she is always around people who can drink a lot more then herself. She just smiles and nods her head at her. The people she was friends with could get rather crazy sometimes if she was honest with herself. ”Maybe he’s a good guy though.” Visna says about the man that was touching her mother and Sofie rolls her eyes and takes another drink from her cup."If he keeps it up, he will have a nice ass sword in his back." she comments darkly before drinking again. She didn't care if the dude was the nicest man in the world, he was not her father and she didn't like how he was touching her mother.

The conversation took a turn and they made her tell them her plans. ”That’s great! But what use could he make of a swor-” she hears Visna say, but goes on to say that she was going to free maurr as well. ”I’ll help with that.”Visna says to her and Sofie nods her head "Good I am going to need help once I'm more sober." she says to her sister before she looks toward Maurr. ”Wait, no, no you can’t do that”, she hears him say to her first ands he lifts an eyebrow at him. ”You’ll get in trouble if they find out, I can’t own a sword, I’m not allowed to use one either”, he says to her next and she can tell she has upset him, that was not her goal her at all. It sobers her up rather quick as she looks at him more. He sets his drink down and looks around. Sofie takes a deep breath and moves closer to him. Placing a hand on his arm. "I have thought the sword part out very well. You wouldn't be keeping it on you until I free you, and I'll have my sister request you more often. For help with your help with things. Then I will train you in secret." she tell him in a whisper she is sure he would only hear.

Taking another breath she looks to her sister and then back to him. "I would never do anything to get you in trouble and I could careless if I get in trouble. If we got caught I would say I was making you help me get better. " she says to him before pulling away and downing her cup of ale, raising her hand and having another brought her way. "But we are here to have fun, and I don't want to do anything but that.We can talk about this in the morning before you go back to work. Seeing as you are staying in our home tonight." she says to him before turning back toward Visna. "But yes, I'll need your help." she repeats herself before taking the new cup of ale and downing it in a mater of moments. "I'm done drinking for now, don't let me have anymore." she says before closing her eyes for a moment. Feeling bad she upset and worried him, she was just trying to help.

Maybe she shouldn’t have said that. Not with Sofie getting drunk and nobody around them actually ready to stop her if she ended up doing something she was going to regret later on. Her sister’s words were harsh and dark and brought a little discomfort in Visna’s heart. She didn’t want her sister to think she could solve every problem by using violence and by getting angry at everyone. Also, she should’ve trusted their mother a little more and try to be a little happier about her finally trying to move on after their father’s death. After all, they were the ones still alive, they couldn’t stop living their lives and Visna was sure their dad would’ve want them to move on as well. The girl shook her head lightly and decided not to talk about that matter further, she didn’t want to ruin the whole evening just because of that, but she said to herself that she had to talk to her sister about this some other time.

Another fairly important matter took their previous one’s place and Visna felt like the ale she had been drinking for the whole night suddenly didn’t have any kind of effect on her. She stood up and stiffened and with a serious look on her face, she offered her help to her sister, but Maurr’s reaction to what now was their plan wasn’t the one she was expecting from the boy. He suddenly looked like he was panicking, Visna could say he was getting nervous about what they were talking about and furrowed her eyebrows at him. It wasn’t like they didn’t know what they were doing, right? They were completely aware of the fact that they were about to walk on a dangerous path, but Visna would’ve done anything for him. For them to be happy. Wasn’t that what he should’ve wanted?

Sofie got closer to the boy and whispered something to him, but Visna couldn’t really hear what she was saying, because of the noise the people around them were making and probably because she was speaking to him in a whisper on purpose. The brunette felt a bitter flavour in her mouth and immediately felt stupid about her feelings. Was she really jealous of her sister getting so close to him? He was such a good friend of hers and she was working and thinking of freeing him, so why did she feel like that? Visna put the blame on the ale, thinking that she wasn’t supposed to overthink when she was as drunk as she was now. She told herself to stop being stupid and luckily her sister started talking louder again, her voice covering the volume of her thoughts. She briefly explained her plan further and Visna couldn’t help but think about how lucky she was to have such a determined sister, ready to help everyone she cared about.

But we are here to have fun, and I don't want to do anything but that.We can talk about this in the morning before you go back to work. Seeing as you are staying in our home tonight." Sofie was right. They weren’t supposed to be so serious in such an occasion. The last sentence Sofie spoke echoed in Visna’s mind a couple of times before she could actually grasp the meaning of that. They used to sleep together a lot when they were kids and that’s what Sofie was probably thinking about, but she didn’t really know how things had changed. Her heart started beating a little faster but she didn’t want to be too obvious. She hid her face behind her cup while sipping more ale and in the meantime, Sofie told her she really needed her help. Visna nodded at her before looking at the boy. ”Trust us.” She said with a soothing voice while placing her hand on his arm. ”I’m done drinking for now, don't let me have anymore." Visna smiled back at her sister before placing her empty cup down. ”Well, I’m not!” Her voice was light and her smile grew suddenly brighter while she was calling out for someone to bring her more alcohol.
