Vengeance never tasted that sweet.

I should have done this ages ago but I didn’t. Now I want to blow some new inspiration in my only female character so I’m doing it now. There are a lot of new people around here so this could be getting interesting. There is no obligation to play in this off course, but if we keep in mind, Skagen and Skagerrak could get in some serious rivalry with all of this. For who doesn’t know her that well, you can find her character sheet here, for who doesn’t want to read through it, here is her short story;

Short Story
Gunnvor is born in Skagen as the only daughter of the Earl and his wife. She is the next ruler over Skagen for she is the eldest and the only child within the family. As every father he rather had a son so he trained his only daughter to the example of one. Gunnvor is lethal, fierce; she won’t back away out of a fight. But she had to when Halfdan and his brother Harald invaded Skagen and killed both her parents to claim the rule over the kingdom. Gunnvor ran away that day, to young to fight back, to broken to even find the courage. Traveling from village to village she comes into a fight with a raiding party from out of Skagerrak … what brings her with Rigas. In some way he lets her live and she accepts. Rigas becomes earl of Skagerrak and Gunnvor marries him … rules after all, only the wrong kingdom. In the years she lives in Skagerrak she never once forgot about Skagen and the invaders who took it. It is for that her sworn duty to claim back what belongs to her. But weeks become years and after giving birth to Freyr Gunnvor is stronger than ever, family makes her stronger, love makes her stronger. She knows there are still people there in Skagen routing for her claim to the throne. She left without anything but she surly would come back with an army for she has Skagerrak, a husband she dearly loves and a son she treasures. And you know what they say, loves conquers all. She is planning on bringing Halfdan down.

Where am I looking for
So this is that, Gunnvor is planning on taking Skagen back on a day. Where I’m looking for are all kind of plotlines concerning this. Here some ideas to what I can maybe use in this plot;
+ Spy’s: People out of Skagen who are loyal to her, for that keep an eye on Halfdan and Harald. They will travel to Skagerrak unnoticed to give her information about all kinds of things that happen Skagen and could be of interest to her.
+ A friend: Maybe she has a friend that lived in Skagen and flee away after the takeover. Who reconnected with Gunnvor after some time. He would be her right hand in everything that concerns Skagen and the plans around it. She would trust him with her life and he is protected by her rule in Skagerrak, he would live there to.
+ Villagers: If you have a char that lives in Skagen and you want her/him to give a little extra in the history, you can always write down his/hers loyalty to Gunnvor and her lost parents before the takeover. Gives a little extra, certainly when you have a thread with a character that is 100 percent loyal to Halfdan and Harald.
+ Further: Whatever ideas are welcome!! I’m in for almost everything.

Asny Asvardóttir
Gunnvor has a weak for childeren, young teenagers and all alike so I think ..; this really could work out. Gunnvor would have the urge to make her stronger, better, a fighter because she is a woman herself and believes in the power woman can get. So I think Asny could learn a lot, the other way around ... nobody suspected a innocent little girl in some tasks so she could really come in handy in her further quest to take back Skagen. So YES YES YES, let's see where this leads to.

I knew it! The fierce enemy needs their loyalty to, which is gonna be the same for Haskell, my other character. I'm looking forward to get Hlif before Gunnvor, could be one epic battle for in the future.

This sounds interesting! Surly Gunnvor would pay him a lot of gold and give him the protection if he maybe is willing on arming the part of Skagen that is on her side. I don't know if Gunnvor would risk it to go to Skagen for a maybe meeting with him of sorts ... so we maybe should find something on that.
